Traditional Ground Burial

Typically requires that an outer burial container or vault and most memorial parks require flat memorials or headstones.  Most interments are made side-by-side however some cemeteries may permit double-depth interment (one above the other).

Lawn Crypts

Above is a artist rendering of a lawn crypt interment.  These are pre-fabricated concrete vaults that can be either single or double depth (one above the other).  There can be added savings by purchasing a lawn crypt since a burial vault is not required and is included in the purchase price of the cemetery property.

Family Gardens

Family gardens can be either Private or Sem-Private areas for families.  The picture above is a semi-private area.  This is especially fitting for couples and features two side-by-side spaces arranged in front of a wall for semi privacy, with a pillow block for the family name. There may be special plantings and benches accenting the estate area. Each cemetery sets their own guidelines as to type of monuments. We can assist you in researching these issues. 

Custom Private Family Mausoleums

One of the most exclusive property options is a private family mausoleum. Each property is custom designed by the family and cemetery to meet their specific needs. There are many beautiful private mausoleums in cemeteries throughout the country.

Mausoleum Entombment

Mausoleum entombment has been a preferred choice for burial for centuries.  They may offer in-door and out-door courts and can offer single or double capacity.  Some mausoleums may offer family rooms that can accomodate multiple entombments and are often private and gated.

Columbarium Niche Interment

A columbarium offers individual niches for the interment of urns.  The niche can be single or multiple capacity depending on the type and dimension.  Niches can have glass fronts with decorative or personalized urns placed inside.

Urn Gardens

Urn gardens may offer a variety of choices including niches, family areas and ground inurnment.  With cremation increasing in popularity more cemeteries are devoting space and selections for families to choose from.  Below is a photo of a  common Urn Placement (beneath the flower pot).  These are not available at all cemeteries.  Urns are placed into the depository and some cemeteries may not offer the ability to retrieve the urn depending on construction.  If you are selecting this type of disposition, you may want to clarify the cemetery's policy.
